With the new year things have been pretty hectic here at Naish as we are working hard on developing new product... Finally with a break in the action, we are updating our E-News software and catching back up with recent Naish Kiteboarding E-News Events, so look for much more news in the next few weeks.
Graham Boltz Bags Kauai Graham kept true to his word and became the first Kiteboarder to make the channel crossing from Oahu to Kauai on Feb 8th. Graham made the crossing solo without any support. Equipped only with his GPS and EPIRB, Graham logged exactly 84 miles for his trip and took six hours. The only other recorded crossing was made my Dave Kalama and Laird Hamilton on standups in 19 hours. Graham had so little with him that he needed to hitchhike to the airport and borrow a shirt and a pair of womens slippers before he was allowed onboard. Congratulations Graham... You're crazier than anyone here in the office initially thought! |
